Poem II – The Siren of Sablefen
The sands where a desert once lay,Now gone, soil and mud in its way. The desert the siren went, he who brought rain,Protect and aid he did, but never could he reign. From olden lands, now forgotten and deadThis man came, alongside his old friendProtectors of that land they were, now those of new,To live anew, leaving old fates behind, he withdrew. Oh but follow the anarchist, those old fates do,Perhaps as blessing or curse, the man knew not,Eldritch of old give him powers, lest he forgotWhat They could turn him into.
