Twelfth Night: When, What, Who, and Where

The SLC Theatre Troupe will present Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, Twelfth Night!

When: The 30th and the 31st of March and the 1st of April from 7:30 to 9:30.

What: Viola and her twin brother Sebastian experience a shipwreck on the coast of Illyria, in the Balkan peninsula. Believing her brother has died, Viola is forced to disguise herself as a man under the name of Cesario, and starts working as a servant for Duke Orsino. She slowly falls in love with him but, on the other hand, the Duke is madly in love with Olivia, a wealthy countess. He sends Viola, still pretending to be Cesario, to give letters to Olivia on his behalf. However, Olivia falls in love with the character of Cesario, thus entering the three characters in a love triangle.[1]
