Last December, after almost two years of hard work, Bloom communications launched its job offer platform “PropULsion.” The platform now displays more than 200 jobs, and internship offers adapted to the student body.  Funded and coordinated by Laval University, PropULsion is a global project involving multiple Cégep including Garneau, St-Foys and Trois-Rivière. From January 28th to 31st, St Lawrence’s Political Science and Debate Club participated in the 32nd edition of McGill University’s Model UN. Although the PSD has participated in multiple editions of McMUN before, this was of course the first time participating in an entirely virtual context, creating a unique experience for all participants. Model United Nations, more commonly abbreviated as MUN, is an extracurricular activity, usually organized by colleges and universities to simulate United Nations’ meetings. The Benefits of Getting Involved in CEGEP St. Lawrence’s Community Garden Project Word has been buzzing that the Psychosocial services at CEGEP Champlain St. Lawrence has teamed up with the Ville De Quebec, the Jardin communautaire de Sillery, and Jeffery Hale Community Partners to start a community garden project in April 2021.  A community garden is defined by its shared nature, and the main goal of this project is to get people to learn how to work together for a greater purpose despite the Covid-19 situation. St. Lawrence is well known for its dynamic student life. However, COVID-19 has greatly affected this important aspect in students’ lives.
